Position Description:

Key HR team member providing expert HR consultancy and leadership to management and employees of Flowserve's Irving, TX facilities (Scope: 2 facilities and approximately 400 employees). Candidate will be responsible for the local delivery and execution of HR programs and policies, as well as providing day-to-day HR support for people managers at all levels of the organization. Through partnership with HR Centers of Expertise and the HR Service Delivery team, the position provides and sustains the processes and necessary HR support to positively affect the entire Talent Life Cycle.

*Talent Acquisition - support manpower plan, including growth and attrition; support talent pipe-line, to include college recruiting and functional intern/co-op programs and; leadership talent (internal and external).

  • Learning and Development - support the implementation of training and development programs that strengthen organizational and individual effectiveness

  • Business Performance - support Flowserve Performance Management process by engaging leadership to address performance issues and manage process.

  • Employee Relations/Ethics and Intergrity - ensure employment practices are deployed consistent with company policies/philosophy and legal requirements.

  • Organizational Design- ensure clean org structures and clear reporting relationships. This includes jobs scoped and defined at the correct levels and pay delivered commensurate with job levels and associate contribution.

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of experience/education. Human Resources degree or Business degree preferred.

  • 8 + years employee relations and recruiting experience

  • 3 + years of experience coordinating Immigration Services through utilization of 3rd Party Service Provider. Working knowledge of Immigration requirements and processes.

  • Experience in a global environment is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to motivate and develop people

  • Team oriented with excellent communication skills

  • Possess strong organizational and interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate and coach cooperative team approaches

  • Must possess strong analytical skills, and be computer literate.


  • Master's Degree in HR a plus

  • Experience in a global environment is highly desirable
