Position Description:

Basic Function:

The customer intelligence analyst is responsible for developing and executing bookings analysis and customer intelligence programs with both internal and external partners/resources. This position will report to the Customer and Competitive Intelligence Lead.

· Provide insights into customer behavior through analysis of historical bookings data across the enterprise

· Perform customer segmentation analysis, derive trends and provide insights into changes in the customer base, by region, type of customer, channel, product category, etc.

· Implement processes, procedures and policies to improve data gathering, customer and bookings analysis and intelligence dissemination

· Further institutionalize a robust Voice-of-Customer (VoC) program and methodology including organization of training and tracking participation

· Develop mechanisms to deliver information, including comparison grids, customer profiles/snapshots and dashboards

· Develop surveys, interviews, focus group guides and usability studies that can be conducted with internal constituents

Principal Accountabilities:

· Provide actionable, fact-based intelligence and insight about customers that align with objectives, goals and business decisions

· Analyze and package quantitative and qualitative information for distribution

Position Requirements:

Education and Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, statistics or related discipline required

· Master’s degree/MBA preferred

· 8 to 12 years data analytics, modeling and reporting experience

· Five to 10 years online research experience

· Strong background in knowledge management

· Previous sales enablement and/or channel marketing experience a plus

Required Skills:

· Highly analytical

· Able to take customer insights and weave them into critical b-to-b sales, marketing, product deliverables (e.g. customer bookings analyses, customer insights documents)

· Can work across business units to connect with sales resources, buyers and channel partners

Desired Skills:

· Deep experience with primary/secondary research methods, both offline and online

· Familiarity with industry-standard assessment models

· Experience with statistical/analytics packages

· Deep knowledge of Flowserve target market segments and personas sold to

· Knowledge of Flowserve’s competitive set
