Lead the selling effort in the European, Middle East and Africa region for the Flowserve automation product group to include Limitorque, PMV, Automax and Norbro. Develop and implement strategies by industry, region, and/or product that support the growth expectations of the organization.
Develop the consolidated bookings forecast for the EMA automation group, including the breakdown by aftermarket and major projects, etc. The format for the bookings forecast should enable analysis of trends in the major business segments, product categories, etc. Track and report on quote won/loss percentage and implement necessary actions to improve.
Develop and manage the “win” strategy for all major projects within the automation group. Through direct involvement with the customer and quoting organization, increase the win percentage on major projects.
Manage the administrative requirements of the business, specifically departmental SG&A, expense budgets, SIP administration, and compliance to all related FLS policies, including export compliance, FCPA, and the use of FLS standard worldwide T&Cs, the timely authorization of representatives & distributors through FCO's standard system and other similar initiatives as directed by Flowserve / FCO
Drive a high performance team culture by cascading objectives & key initiatives to all direct reports, ensuring all employees have SMART objectives and accountabilities recorded on PM forms NLT the end of Q1. Establish team goals by reviewing job and performance expectations regularly and providing informal/formal feedback continuously. During year-end review period, use the annual salary review allocation to accurately reflect an employee's performance and progress toward yearly goals.
Drive employee development by completing development dialogues with 100% of direct reports and ensuring that targeted, actionable development plans, aligned with Flowserve’s vision, are in place as a result of those conversations. Completed development plans should be recorded in the PMP system each year NLT the end of Q1 and reviewed during mid-year and year end process.
Bachelor’s degree preferred in either business or engineering
Equivalent sales and business experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
Minimum 10 years’ experience in a sales related role, 5 of these years in in the valve automation industry.
Relationships with European based valve manufactures preferred
Minimum 2 years’ proven experience in a Sales Management role.
Computer literate in MS Office
Strong in interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to work in a team environment supporting all Flowserve associates in order to successfully achieve corporate objectives.
