Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Economics & Finance, Information Technology or related discipline.
Knowledge of SQL databases and statistical software packages is desirable
Minimum 5 years preferably in a reporting, process improvement or analytical role
CIP Black Belt Certification preferred
Excellent interpersonal, written/verbal communication, and leadership skills with the ability to quickly build credibility, influence and make recommendations to all levels
Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail
Organizational skills - ability to multi-task, prioritize, and execute on assigned deliverables

Support and continuously evolve established reporting and analytics for FPD Supply Chain processes as well as the Monthly Operations Review process.
Support the business with clear and insightful analysis applying advanced modeling techniques leveraging the data at hand
Continuously enhance and implement business tools, reporting and analytics so management team can drive improved forecasting accuracy
Conduct data mining / analytics to provide insights across products, markets and geographies for the purposes of growing the front end of the business.
Develop other demand information and analytics for Executive Management
Conduct various data auditing, aggregation, validation and reconciliation within the data made available
Support the annual business planning and fiscal budgeting related to department
The Sr. Business Analyst is responsible for supporting and managing data analytics needs including, but not limited to the sales and operating demand forecast process, market level pricing, and product performance as required by Flowserve Pumps Division (FPD) Supply Chain Operations. He / She will work collaboratively with the Supply Chain teams in over 25 facilities Globally to align these analytics with business strategies and objectives. Superior communication and interpersonal skills, the ability to work cross-functionally with other areas of the organization, strong analytical skills, a professional demeanor and the ability to participate in and lead teams are the keys to this position. Strong organizational skills are required to be able to effectively manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously. The incumbent must be able to work in a highly visible, dynamic and fast paced environment. They must also have a curiosity, desire and strong enjoyment of diving into available data for the purpose of developing new insights to grow the front end of our business. This position reports directly to the Director Supply Chain for Pumps Division.
